The unit was completely redesigned and renovated in 2003. A local architect, along with the owner, took this unit back to studded walls and plywood floors. The design focused upon opening the ocean view, which is bold and immediate upon opening the front entry door. Walls were removed and redesigned to afford ocean views from the custom kitchen, with all new cabinetry and appliances. The focal point, aside from the dramatic ocean view through the sliding pocket doors, is the spiral staircase which was specifically chosen so as to not obstruct the view and add a dramatic artistic element to the main living area. The unit is finished with beechwood and marble floors, jacuzzi tubs, granite kitchen counters and custom lighting fixtures. Attention to every detail to make this an amazing setting. This is one of the finest condo units I have had the pleasure of viewing on the entire island of Kauai. It is a must see for the truly discriminating Buyer. Nothing else really compares. Really enjoyed all aspects of this property which exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be returning to Kauai and will consider this location again.
